Getting to Know Mr. Laude

This is Mr. Laude's first year at Bordentown Regional School District. He is eager to meet your students and make tons of incredible music with them! Music has always been an important part of his life. He believes that every student deserves an enjoyable music experience, full of creativity and expression. To Mr. Laude, music is something that brings him rest and joy, and he hopes to share that with his students too!

From a young age, he started learning the violin, and worked hard so that he could play anytime anywhere. He studied under Ms. Cyndee Rule at the NJ School of Music in Medford, where he received intense training and guidance. Nowadays, you can find Mr. Laude playing violin in pit orchestras, weddings, and possibly in his backyard! Mr. Laude also has additional experience on the trumpet, French Horn, electric bass, guitar, and piano. Besides violin, Mr. Laude's other instrument of choice is percussion - which includes the drums, marimba, timpani, and more. He studied with percussion professor and performer Bill Trigg, at The College of New Jersey, graduating as Valedictorian, Suma Cum Laude in May 2024.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Laude is a huge fan of marching band. He is currently on staff with the Bordentown Marching Scotties, serving as percussion staff alongside Mr. Bergen! Mr. Laude travels all over New Jersey with the marching band, meeting other schools, and competing each weekend. During football games, you can catch Mr. Laude cheering on our team and even playing some instruments in the stands. Come say hello and I'll give you a cow bell to hit!

Mr. Laude's interests outside of music include pickle ball, going to the gym, gardening, hiking, visiting coffee shops, going to the movies, and of course making music with his beloved friends and family!
