About Ms. Benson

Hi, I'm Ms. Benson! I am a second-year teacher and I'm thrilled to be returning as Peter Muschal's General Music Teacher.
I began singing in choirs at the age of eight, and I continue to do so to this day! I sing in a choir based out of Ewing, New Jersey. We're called the Glassbrook Vocal Ensemble. Check us out, we're pretty cool.
Aside from singing, I play the ukulele and the piano. I also have experience playing the clarinet. Fun fact: I was in the marching band at Gettysburg College, my alma mater! It was so much fun. If I could master any instrument today, it would be the cello. I love its rich sound. If you could wake up with the ability to play any instrument perfectly, which instrument would you choose?
Aside from music-making, I like to spend time with friends and family, drink coffee (I LOVE coffee!), read, write, hike, and petting/playing with my cat, Milo!
I can be best reached via email at I am here to help in any way that I can -- we are Bordentown strong!
