About Ms. Benson
Hi, I'm Ms. Olivia Benson! I am a sixth-year teacher and I'm thrilled to be returning as Peter Muschal's General Music Teacher.
I began singing in choirs at the age of eight, and I continue to do so to this day! I sing in a choir based out of Princeton, New Jersey. We're called the Glassbrook Vocal Ensemble. Check us out, we're pretty cool.
Aside from singing, I play the ukulele and the piano. I also have experience playing the clarinet. Fun fact: I was in the marching band at Gettysburg College, my alma mater (Class of 2019)! It was so much fun. If I could master any instrument today, it would be the cello. I love its rich sound. If you could wake up with the ability to play any instrument perfectly, which instrument would you choose?
Here are my favorites:
Color: Green
Store: Target
Drink: Starbucks coffee
Fast Food: Chipotle
Seasons: Fall and Winter
Hobbies: Spending time with my friends and family, singing in choir, and snuggling/playing with my cats, Charlie and Toast!
Animal: Capybara
Sport: Hockey (Go New Jersey Devils!)
I can be best reached via email at [email protected]. I'm looking forward to a great year of music-making!
