Reactive airway disease and Asthma
Children with reactive airway disease/asthma, who have medication in school, are required to have an Asthma Treatment Plan. The Asthma Treatment Plan is required by NJ State Law and is completed by your child’s physician and signed by the parent/guardian. The information in the Asthma Treatment Plan enables us to assist your child should there be a respiratory emergency during school hours. An Asthma Treatment Plan is required for any child who has an inhaler or nebulizer medications in school. For additional information about Asthma and Asthma Treatment Plans, please visit The Pediatric/Adult Asthma Coalition of New Jersey’s website at www.pacnj.org.
