Emergencies- please make sure the school has the correct emergency information on file for your child. If phone numbers change, you can call or send in a note so your child’s file can be updated!

Homework - your child will have spelling and math homework.  Monday through Thursday.  In addition, each child is required to read for at least 10-15 minutes every night.

I is for…

Important information- if you have any important papers that need to come to school, please send them in your child’s folder, as these are emptied daily.

J is for…

Jobs - at least every other week your child will have a classroom job.  This will help to teach him/her responsibility.

K is for…

Kindness- we will practice being kind to others every day.  We are “bucket fillers” in this class and our school has a zero tolerance policy for bullying.

L is for…

Lunch- our lunch/recess time is from 12:15 until 1:00.  If your child buys lunch, they need to bring money or already have money in their lunch account.  The schedule for what will be served is available online.

M is for…

Money- when sending in money to school, please put it in an envelope or bag with your child’s name on it. Also, make sure you label what the money is for (i.e. lunch money).

Q is for…

Quick and Quiet Hellos- as you volunteer or visit in the school, I will urge your child to acknowledge you with a “quick and quiet” wave hello.  It is important for them to greet you, but remain involved in class activities.
