About Mrs. Stettner
My background:
I have been teaching for 25 years! I received my teaching degree from Trenton State College, now known as The College of New Jersey. Upon completion of my degree, I began teaching fifth grade in Hillsborough, New Jersey and later switched to Basic Skills in the same district. After that, I took several years off to raise my two daughters, Kacie and Kristin, both of whom graduated from Bordentown Regional High School. Kacie attended my Alma mater, graduated with a degree in Finance, and is working and living in North Jersey. Kristin attended West Chester University in Pennsylvania and received her degree in Media and Culture. She is currently doing video production and editing for a company in Manhattan. When they were old enough, I resumed my teaching career here in Bordentown and have taught third and fourth grade, in addition to Basic Skills.
Hobbies:
First and foremost, I love to read! I have more time now that my daughters are older and I even helped form a neighborhood book club to discuss books with friends once a month. Also, I enjoy the beach and swimming, so whether it is while traveling, or just spending a day at the Jersey Shore, I get to the beach as often as possible. My husband and I like to be outside, so we enjoy hiking, biking, and kayaking whenever the weather is good.
