Birthdays
Birthdays are special days! The Kindergarten team has decided to celebrate students' birthdays with a new unified approach that will be the same for all children in Kindergarten. We will be celebrating birthdays without food treats and ask parents to refrain from sending cupcakes or birthday snacks to school. Your child's birthday will be celebrated during the Morning Meeting with the Happy Birthday song and a special birthday card with a page created by each child in the class. The birthday child will receive a birthday certificate, a birthday pencil, a birthday crown, a new book and a gift from the prize box.
Summer birthdays will be celebrated at the end of the school year.
*If you are hosting an outside party and would like to have invitations distributed, please place them in a bag and have your child give them directly to me. I will be happy to place them in the students' folders. No students are permitted to pass out invitations themselves.*
